 I found this product as one of the most recommended unit for those who are just starting to paintball. However, the accessories included in the package received many complaints from the customers, claiming that all those extras are cheap, etc. You may want to purchase those extras separately and choose something with better quality. I found no complaints regarding the gun alone. Those who have purchased the unit stated that they have no problems with firing or reloading the unit. Physically, this semi-automatic gun looks so intimidating on the field, some said that it makes you look like someone from the army. It has very good accuracy and causes no problem in the field. This is perhaps one of the priciest set as it reaches nearly $350. Currently, Amazon offers $234 for the whole package, which according to one user is a good price rather than purchasing each of the items separately.  I dont know about you, but if I am going to use paintball gun for a game, I would prefer the slightly heavy one like real guns instead of the super light weight one such as Kingman Spyder MR4. And if you think the weight would somehow helps you figure out the price, then for this item you have made quite a guess. As the subsidiary of Kingman, Spyder which was founded in 1994, has the goal of offering easy-to-use, reliable paintball markers that are affordable for all players. I guess that explains why it is currently sold for $126.00 on Amazon, but dont expect that the manufacturer didnt pay attention on the quality of their products as the company has already been known for their markers performance and durability. Not only that, Spyder has long sought to be the most reliable brand in paintball and remained consistent throughout the years in creating a popular product line which includes all manner of paintball accessories. We use paintball guns for paintball games, but some people would rather use the term marker to refer this equipment as opposed to gun with an intention to oppose the publics belief that the items are weapons and that paintball is a dangerous sport to participate in.
The unit quickly thrusts and propels paint balls out of the marker via a burst of compressed CO2 gas. There is a long valve tube in the center of the marker which runs the length of the barrel, in which paint balls are inserted, down to the chamber which is located at the rear end of the gun. At the same place, the gas cartridge is also attached. The valve tube passes through the bolt, hammer and a spring along this path, also the valve seat which is located at the gas-intake end position of the marker. The valve tube is at all times open at the barrel end of the marker but there are other openings at the sides of the tube which are obstructed by the bordering valve seat. The tube is kept in place by a device referred to as a cup seal. So when the marker is not cocked, the bolt expands and blocks the paint balls from entering through the barrel, while when it is cocked paint balls will be released and shot. To do this you need to pull the bolt backward on the marker and press the spring to get the bolt hit against the hammer. When the bolt slides backward, the ammunition intake will open and allow a paintball to enter the barrel of the marker. Read more..

The first paintball gun was invented and patented in 1980 by James Hale of Daisy Manufacturing. With the gun, Hale used to mark trees and livestock.
